Choo Choo the Snowman

We didn't pack warm enough clothes but thoughtful Aunt Jordan got Oliver a coat and some boots so he could play outside in the snow. What fun we had! Oliver giggled the entire time and screamed bloody murder when it was time to go inside. I'm not sure if his favorite thing was jumping in the puddles or throwing snowballs at Daddoo. He was positively giddy the entire time we were outside.

Here he is all bundled up:

We made a snow man and O named him Choo Choo since he heard a train going by in the distance. Choo Choo had a carrot nose and Oreo eyes. Poor Choo Choo has a short life expectancy, however, as it is supposed to warm up tomorrow. Our first snowman! How much fun. I honestly can't remember the last time I built a snowman. It's amazing how seeing the world through the eyes of a child provides new perspective and surprising joy. What a gift. We are grateful people.

I'm loving Oliver's gloves in that last pic! We made a snowman over Thanksgiving but he was only about a foot high. You guys did a good job!
