Our Dallas Zoo membership can conveniently be used at the Abilene Zoo so we headed there this morning for another day of celebrating Mr. T's first birthday. The rain held off and allowed for a cool, breezy, very un-August-like visit. What fun...

ok, i couldn't help but comment here too.
we just went to the dallas zoo yesterday.
no lion.
no bear.
luckily, they had a tiger. as i had taught big h the 'lions and tigers and bears, oh my' song.
nice.
what a fun time you had in abilene.
